I read your article, and it kinda reminded me of my old days taking Tang So Do in MD. Although, I practice a different type or martial arts, I still get the feeling when I compete. Great article.

Jen, we should have vented on this in more detail but your experience with the telco’s brought back horrible memories for me…same reaction too…cant find the building??? what the f*&^. I think there are so many issues between the government and telstra and telstra are so un co-operative on the boring infrastructure things …someone must do something …after your yoga class can you do some political lobbying in this area? Ha! Jen you’ve made it sound fun to take PT again! Reminds me of our experiences on the buses in Rome.

Heck the buses in LA (woe to those who depend on the buses) sometimes just roll past the stops so crammed with bodies that people are doing that thing where their faces are smushed against the windows-silently crying for help I imagine.

Your great grandmother (an immigrant from Ireland to the US) used to refer to people who were down on their luck but hopeful about the future as “waiting for their ship to come in”. Reading this reminded me of her: hope your ship comes in soon.
